The most crucial conditions for our country's advancement are gender equality and women's empowerment.
The Women Development Cell (WDC) was established in June 2019 in an attempt to integrate gender
sensitization into Government General Degree College, Dantan-II. The goal of the Cell's work is to make
society and the campus more gender sensitive.
Objectives:
. To contribute to the creation of an equal society, given that we live in a patriarchal culture that places a strong sociocultural emphasis on male superiority.
. Assisting female students in leading balanced lives in which they avoid becoming aggressive or sinking into depression.
. To plan events and activities for women's empowerment.
. To emphasize the growth of women in all spheres.
. To foster an atmosphere that enables women to contribute fully and to the fullest extent possible.
